Liberty Township – Kim and Eric Haaff are rare and wonderful people. When they heard that their neighbor had become a facilitator for Darkness to Light’s Stewards of program, they wanted to make sure that all their other neighbors and friends heard about how to end child abuse in their own community.
Kim and Eric decided to sponsor a training in their own home AND, at their own expense, provide the materials too. As a response to their invitation, over 20 people will be trained this summer in their area.
Thanks so much for your generosity Kim and Eric!
I think the above story is a great example of the compassion of humankind. I do so wish that a facilitation training would be held in Columbus, Ohio. There are many here, I believe, that will be interested in this healing work.

This hits home, and I am at a loss for words. I am only one of at least fifty survivors of the same perpetrator. Two of the adult family members that helped to protect the abuser from going to jail while he was facing charges for raping babies, and other children, live in Liberty Township. I was 13-14 years old when these two adults and their adult siblings families flew in from Texas and California to gang up on me, and throw me out on the streets in order to protect their daddy. I want to write a book about the sick family that moved to a safe, nice big home in Liberty Township while I was victimized over and over again by strangers that I met as a result of them causing me to become a homeless teenager. Because there are so many victims and (family) perpetrators I have seek the advice of an attorney before I proceed with finishing my book. I am at a loss for words, but I’d like to say “Thank you” to Kim and Eric Haaff, and their neighbor for trying to prevent this kind of thing from happening to others.
