Rosa Cendejas
Bend, OR
Rosa is an Oregon native who has worked as a champion for Spanish-speaking families in both clinical and educational settings for over 25 years. Her earliest professional experiences as an emergency room interpreter sparked her interest in working with abuse and neglect survivors. Prior to joining KIDS Center in 2015, Rosa performed case management for MountainStar Family Relief Nursery, one of our partner agencies which focuses on child abuse and neglect prevention for families with birth to 4 years of age.
Rosa is a certified instructor in the “Nurturing Parenting” and “Making Parenting A Pleasure” programs and teaches classes through The Family Resource Center in Central Oregon. As a Darkness to Light Authorized Facilitator at KIDS Center in Bend Oregon, Rosa continues to educate communities throughout Central Oregon about child abuse prevention.
