Littleton, CO
Kim Lakin Creger is a wife, a Mom to three grown children, and a grandma to three beautiful children. She is a survivor, and thriver, of child sexual abuse. She has recently started sharing her story of child sexual abuse, and has become an advocate, a Certified Instructor, and an Authorized Facilitator for child sexual abuse prevention through Darkness to Light’s Stewards of Children®.
She has been an advocate for children for 30 years and spent 25 years in Children’s Ministry, as well as being very active in the public schools. She is on the Board of the Tri-County Health Department, Sheridan Health Services and Englewood Health Services, and is helping to start a new initiative called South Metro Communities United (Communities that Care). She is a member of the National Survivor Force Organization and the National Association of Adult Survivors of Child Abuse. She hopes to make a difference in how communities talk and act when it comes to sexual abuse prevention – our children and grandchildren are worth it!
Let’s work together to build communities of adults who are watching out for all children!
