Team D2L is in Chicago this week hosting Prevent Now! workshops, and encouraging Chicagoans to make child sexual abuse prevention a priority in their community. Throughout the week we’ll be holding meetings focusing on the epidemic of CSA, how Darkness to Light has the tools to end child sexual abuse, and teaching Chicagoans how to work as a community to effectively prevent this tragedy.
Somehow we managed to book our trip with St. Patrick’s Day falling mid-week so we hope that Thursday’s meeting can carry on as scheduled. Also, yesterday between conferences Jolie and Cindy found time to squeeze in some Chicago pizza and managed to make everyone here in Charleston exceedingly jealous!
