FAYETTEVILLE — Come to the Kingdom of Zob for lots of laughs as a cool family treat this summer.
The Historic Fayette Theater’s production of The Clumsy Custard & Ice Cream Clone Review, will be on stage July 27 and 28 and Aug. 3 and 4 at 8 p.m., with 2 p.m. Sunday matinees on July 29 and Aug. 5.
“This is a comical, family play with clashes between good and evil,” says Christy Ingram, HFT administrator.
Once upon a time, there was a magical kingdom by a mystical sea. It was the land of Zob. And in Zob, there were two parts: the upper kingdom, Zob Proper; and the lower kingdom, Zob Improper. In Zob Proper, King Dumb is preparing his daughter, Princess Prince, for the prince picking ceremony. All the knights of the realm are anxious to claim her hand. But, in Zob Improper, the evil Dacron has other plans for her.
Will the Princess find love or become the next meal for the Clumsy Custard? Featuring audience participation throughout, this show will leave you breathless with anticipation and proud to be a Zobian.
