Just wanted to share with all of you:
My Facebook posting:
OK, this posting takes more courage than any other that I have ever posted or will post again. But, after reading this article, and I wished I hadn’t, I have to share my first and only response to NY times reader comments. I want to say I’m sorry for posting this, but out of respect for myself and so many others, I will not.
My NYT posting:
He is lying. The victims will verify this. The despicable human beings will be those who choose to believe Sandusky over them. But you are right, he is innocent until proven guilty. No child of mine would ever be left alone with this man though, even before the allegations were made. The Mr Sandusky’s are everywhere. When it comes to the protection of children from sexual predators, always go with your gut and apply the “‘If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it just may be a duck” maxim. For more education on how to protect the children from pedophiles, go to http://www.pomwa.org or https://www.d2l.org/. If you have children, pleas…

In an extensive interview, Jerry Sandusky, the former assistant football coach, insisted that he had never sexually abused any child.
And, my follow-up FB posting:
P.S. I did not post this to get attention for myself. I’m happy to report that the healing process has been successful. In other words, I’m in a good place and grateful for my life with all it’s ups and downs. I just want people to know how to prevent this from happening in the first place. It’s one of my missions in life now.
I’m with you all the way—-Colleen
