Safety first for our children, regarding child sexual abuse, is indeed not new. Dr. Reed Adams, Ph.D., CPSP, Research Director, Social Evaluation Research, Inc. reported that a component of the American Nurses Association adopted a resolution calling for the study and prevention of abuse of our children in 1912.
The Darkness To Light ® organization has developed a community awareness program PREVENT NOW: CHILDHOOD STORIES © including a 21 minute child sexual abuse documentary. This is a splendid opportunity for individuals and groups involved with clubs, churches, camps, schools, sports, recreational, law enforcement/criminal justice or child advocacy to help protect the future of our communities: our children and grandchildren. Contact us and we will bring it to your organization. As authorized facilitators, we will provide everything at no cost to individuals or the organization or agency.
A revolutionary, 3 hour workshop, STEWARDS OF CHILDREN ® designed by Darkness to Light ® to educate adults to recognize, prevent and react responsibly to child sexual abuse is offered to equip and empower adults to keep children safe. That is ALL OF US ADULTS! This workshop has been approved by the NC Sheriffs’ Standards Division, NC Nurses Association #8477, NC Criminal Justice Standards Division, National Association of Social Workers and National Board for Certified Counselors. The cost for this evidenced based workshop (including workbook, handouts and other expenses) is only $25 per participant.

Hello,
I have been overwhelmed with the stories and realities of sexual abuse that has become so popular these days. It is sickening and the abusers are seriously ill. I would like to know as much as I can to prevent this mess, but I live in New York. Do you ever come up north? Or do you have video of your conferences. I am now working to open a small business in a few months from now. I would like to have had taken the $10 prevention program on this site and learn as much as I can to stop this mess. My business somewhat coincides with your business, but company designs and sources tangible feminine products.
Sorry for the long delay in responding. Feel free to contact us via e-mail, US Mail or phone and tell us how we may be of assistance. Ed & Patricia Boelte (910)541-0389 – eboeltes@charter.net – PO Box 3445, Topsail Beach, NC 28445
