Facilitating & Building an Initiative in the Hispanic Community
It’s more important than ever to ensure that prevention training reaches the Hispanic community.
Panelist: Sandy Chavarria, Patty Lombeyda, Rosa Cendejas, Sara Taggart, MPA, & Liliana Will
With the U.S. population becoming increasingly bi-cultural, it’s more important than ever to ensure that child sexual abuse prevention training is reaching the Hispanic community. This panel will feature Darkness to Light Facilitators and Prevention Coordinators who have found success building training initiatives among their communities’ Spanish-speaking population.
Panelists will share how they have successfully created connections in the Hispanic community, roadblocks they’ve faced, and the dynamics present in a Spanish Stewards of Children® training.
