In 1985, the National District Attorneys Association established the National Center for Prosecution of Child Abuse (NCPCA) as a program of the American Prosecutors Research Institute (APRI). Aimed at responding to an increasing volume of reported child abuse, the National Center serves as a central resource for training, expert legal assistance, court reform and state-of-the-art information on criminal child abuse investigations and prosecutions.

Another area where NCPCA can be helpful is understanding the statutes of limitation for each state.  For information, contact them at 703-549-2222 or e-mail ncpca@ndaa-apri.org
